NSW Rural Fire Service – Cumberland Zone provides fire cover to three local government areas (Blacktown, Fairfield & Penrith LGA’s) with over 746 square kilometres and the NSW Rural Fire Service responsible for 62% of that area.

rural-fire-serviceThere are around 850 volunteer members in the Cumberland Zone with this area being one of the busiest in the State, and attending a wide variety of incidents such as Bush/Grass fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Structure Fires, Storm Damage, Search & Rescue etc.

The NSWRFS is proud of their volunteers and their dedication to providing a fire service to the local community 24/7. WE are always looking for new volunteers to join and become part of the team.
